▄ │┌┐├┐├┐┌┐┐┐ QWK Reader v1.1 ▄ (c) Copyright 1991,1992
└┘└└└┘└┘└─└ D&M Enterprises By Marcos Della & Shad Muegge
──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
Welcome to the world of QWK readers!
Jabber has been designed for fast, easy everyday use. We have tried
to make it as general as possible while still incorporating features
that make QWK readers so popular.
---
Included in this ZIP are the following files:
JABBER.EXE JABBER.CFG JABBER.HLP JABBER.DOC
REGISTER.FRM README TYPER.EXE JA-PIF.DVP
TAGLINES.TAG JABBER.QWK SUMMARY.NEW KEYS.DOC
FILE_ID.DIZ DESC.SDI
This ZIP file was created using the -AV command so if your ZIP file
does not display the Authentication number for D&M Enterprises at the
bottom after unzipping the file, please tell your sysop that there is
a modified ZIP on the BBS.

Authentic files Verified! # UOP536 A Quality Program from D&M Enterprises

Minimum configuration:
IBM PC Compatible w/2 disk drives
DOS 3.0 or greater
175k of free memory
CONFIG.SYS must have a minimum of FILES = 14
---
For the fastest installation, create a directory called C:\JABBER and
copy all the files into it. Then run Jabber!
---
Upgrade Notes:
Delete JABBER.MRK file from your STORAGEDIR. This file has
changed and the old version is not compatible.
If you are upgrading from a previous version of JABBER, you only
need to install the JABBER.EXE program over your old copy. The
new CFG items are listed in SUMMARY.NEW. You can install these
into your current CFG file to use the new features or edit the
supplied JABBER.CFG file. Personally I'd recommend editing the
new JABBER.CFG file with a printout of your old configuration
handy for reference.
If you are using the JABBER storage system, v1.1 changes the
method of marking which packets have been opened. On your
initial run, you will see a next to all your packets. As you
start opening packets to read, these will go away.
